🧐 About Raza

Hi there! Raza is a senior (third-year) PhD candidate in Computer Vision at the Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Yaqub at BioMedia Lab. Previously, Raza completed his MS in Machine Learning at MBZUAI under the supervision of Dr. Karthik Nandakumar and Dr. Mohammad Yaqub.

Research Interests: Raza is interested in AI-for-Healthcare and aims to build AI applications that are safe, robust, and deployable for downstream medical tasks. His work bridges model-centric and data-centric approaches to ensure generalizability and trust in clinical environments. Specifically:

• Efficiency: Unsupervised Adaptation, Distillation
• Trustworthiness: Adversarial Training, Test-Time Adaptation
• Domain Generalization: Model Merging, Zero-shot Generalization
• Current Focus: Robust Dermatology VLMs, Latent Representations
